NISUS Awards 2007

Presented to Gary Hall

(CE Engineering)Gary Hall’s support of the South African users, SATUG, and these conferences would be difficult to beat. Without Gary we might very well have lost a user or two over the years, but his tenacity in what is a difficult market has helped to ensure that our user base has remained intact. He is always one of the first to register for the conference, which helps the board members relax in the knowledge that we’ll have at least one exhibitor at the conference, and his very generous offers of sponsorship over the years has contributed to the success of these events.
Presented to Mike Wainwright

(ASCERT) Ascert, in the shape of Rob Walker and Mike Wainwright have supported the South African users and SATUG without missing a conference since the very early days when we only had 5 exhibitors in attendance. Ascert was one of them and to say that the SATUG board is grateful for their continued support would be an understatement, and we sincerely hope that Ascert will continue to support us in the future.
Presented to Dan James

That day was really the beginning of SATUG and Insession has attended every conference since then, and have always supported us here in South Africa in many different ways. The best person to accept this award on behalf of Insession attended that day in 1999 and has been coming down here regularly ever since, Dan James.
Presented to Andy Watts

(SATUG)Andy has been a SATUG board for more than 6 years. During that time he has been instrumental in setting up and maintaining the website, as well as fulfilling the role of SIG Coordinator, and providing the network facilities here for the conference. Andy’s contribution to the success of these conferences has been greatly appreciated by the SATUG board. Andy has a fairly unique record as far as Board meeting attendances go……
